The Time Traveller’s Wife recently began airing on Sky Atlantic and viewers have been wondering where they have seen lead star, Theo James, before. In the series, Theo plays the titular time traveller, ‘Henry’, opposite Game of Thrones’ Rose Leslie’s character, ‘Clare’.
The actor, 37, has a colourful career and has made appearances in numerous films and TV shows. But when did the star’s career begin?

What has Theo James been in?
Starting his television acting career in 2010, Theo starred opposite Doctor Who star, Billie Piper in A Passionate Woman. In the mini-series, he played Alex Crazenovski, the Polish neighbour whom Piper’s character falls in love with. Theo’s character was the lead villain in the first Inbetweeners Movie. He played the role of ‘James’ – an obnoxious night club rep who attempts to ruin the lead characters’ holiday. The role put Theo in the public-eye on a level that he had not achieved before.
This taste of stardom would late prove useful for Theo, as he would go on to star in the Divergent series of films. In the series, which was adapted from a very successful book series, Theo played Tobias ‘Four’ Eaton – one of the leads. He would go on to feature in two sequels and the Divergent series proved to be successful.

Theo’s appearances caught the eye of Sherlock & Doctor Who writer, Steven Moffat and he cast him as the lead in his adaption of The Time Traveller’s Wife.
